Our Grade 2 and Grade 3 math tutoring sessions are designed to build strong numeracy skills step by step, helping children gain confidence and prepare for more advanced concepts.

In Grade 2 tutoring, students strengthen early numeracy skills with numbers up to 1,000. They will practice reading, writing, and sequencing numbers, understanding place value, and connecting numbers with quantities. Lessons cover multi-digit addition and subtraction, multiplication and division within 100, and the properties of 3D shapes. Students will also explore measurement, length, units, and fractions.

In Grade 3 tutoring, children expand their skills to numbers up to 100,000 while continuing to deepen their understanding of place value, sequencing, and number relationships. They will work on addition, subtraction, multiplication and division within 1,000, along with being introduced to long multiplication and long division. Lessons also include shape transformations, measurement, perimeter, unit conversions, and further development of fraction knowledge.

Before registering in this session, please make sure your child has mastered the following: 

• – For Grade 2: Numbers up to 100, carrying in addition, borrowing in subtraction, and basic 2D and 3D shapes.
• – For Grade 3: Numbers up to 1,000, addition and subtraction within 100, multiplication and division within 100, measurement of length and units, and fractions.

An administrative fee of $20 will be applied to all cancellations. No refunds will be issued less than 7 days prior to the start of the session.
