Feeling spontaneous? Family Futures Resource Netwrok offers a variety of drop-in programs for those birth-18 years old, as well for caregivers in the Edmonton area.

15–18 years | Come and join us for a night full of art, creativity, and mindfulness where we will explore various art mediums to celebrate everyone’s uniqueness and artistic individuality.
Birth–3 years | Bring your toddlers to an engaging and safe play space. Play experiences will be set up for you and your child to explore at your own pace. This is an unstructured play time with a focus on providing an opportunity for you to spend time with your child and meet other parents.
2–5 years | Is your child full of energy? Bring them to this exciting program where they will develop physical literacy through fun games and activities and connect with other families. Drop in at any time or join in for the whole time.
4–6 years | Come and explore, discover, and create new things with your child. Activity centers are designed to enhance learning and creativity, engage the senses, build skills and most of all, are fun. Drop in at any time or join in for the whole time.
4–10 years | Calling all dads and male caregivers! Bring your children for a Saturday morning of fun. There will be a variety of play stations set up so you and your child can spend some quality time enjoying each other’s company!
Children ages 13-18 years | Want a place to “hang out” with your friends and listen to music or play a game? Come challenge your friends to Exploding Kittens, test your gaming strategy in Settlers of Catan, and laugh the night away playing Apples to Apples and more. Got a game you have been dying to try or music you love? Let us know! We can not think of a better way to spend a Tuesday Night Out. Register ahead of time or drop in on any of the Tuesdays nights.

For Moms and Caregivers Prenatal to 2 months post-natal | Health for Two is a free program for pregnant women who need extra support to have a healthy pregnancy. Information and support is provided on a variety of health topics related to pregnancy and infant care, in a safe and welcoming environment. You can also receive resources such as prenatal vitamins, milk coupons, and bus tickets to get to prenatal appointments. The program is co-facilitated in partnership with Alberta Health Services. No childcare provided but parents are welcome to bring their children to this program.
13–16 years | In this program, participants will learn about the world of improvisation and performance. Through a variety of games, challenges, and skits, participants will learn to think on their feet and react quickly to their surroundings, problem solve, and work together as a group to reach a common goal. Whether you have improv experience or want to try it for the first time, everyone is welcome!
1–5 years | Enjoy some indoor play time with your child in an unstructured environment. Come on your own with your child or arrange a play date with some friends. Drop in at any time or stay for the entire time. Please ensure snacks are nut-free.
3–6 years | This program offers children the opportunity to move freely and express themselves through play and music. Come join in the fun and support your child’s development with activities such as dancing, and parachute time. Breaks between activities allow for you to drop in at any time to join in the activities and meet other families.
Birth–6 years | Family Futures Resource Network is offering this group in partnership with the Dayspring Presbyterian Church. Parents, caregivers and children come together to meet, learn, socialize, and have fun. Coffee will be provided. Please bring beverages and nut free snacks for your children. We look forward to growing this group with you.
Birth–3 years | Parents will learn songs, finger plays, and simple movement games with their infants and toddlers as well as discover new ways to bond in a supportive peer environment.
Birth–3 years | This fun and interactive program includes stories, musical movement, rhymes and creative props. Connect with your little one in this literacy, arts and movement program. It is also a fun way to interact with other children and families.
Family Futures Resource Network provides information, education and support to individuals, parents and families. We are the only family resource centre in south Edmonton, that offers this range of services and programs. We are a network of programming sites embedded within the communities we serve.
