Feeling spontaneous? Family Futures Resource Network offers a variety of drop-in programs for those birth-18 years old, as well for caregivers in the Edmonton area.
14–17 years | Come and join us for a night full of art, creativity, and mindfulness where we will explore various art mediums to celebrate everyone’s unique, artistic ability.
Birth–3 years | Bring your toddlers to an engaging and safe play space. Play experiences will be set up for you and your child to explore at your own pace. This is an unstructured play time with a focus on providing an opportunity for you to spend time with your child and meet other parents.
2–5 years | Is your child full of energy? Bring them to this active program where they will develop physical literacy through games, music and activities such as dancing, and parachute time. Come join in the fun and meet other families!
1–5 years | Play experiences will be set up for male caregivers and their children to explore at their own pace. This is an unstructured play time providing an opportunity to spend time with your child and meet other caregivers.
Youth ages 13-18 years | Want a place to “hang out” with your friends and listen to music or play a game? Come challenge your friends to Exploding Kittens, test your gaming strategy in Settlers of Catan, and laugh the night away playing Apples to Apples and more. Got a game you have been dying to try or music you love? Let us know! We can not think of a better way to spend a Tuesday Night Out.
13–18 years | In this program, participants will learn about the world of improvisation and performance. Through a variety of games, challenges, and skits, participants will learn to think on their feet and react quickly to their surroundings, problem solve, and work together as a group to reach a common goal. Whether you have improv experience or want to try it for the first time, everyone is welcome!
1–5 years | Enjoy some indoor play time with your child in an unstructured environment. Come with your child or arrange a play date with some friends. Drop in at any time or stay for the entire time. Please ensure snacks are nut-free.
2–6 years | Playdates are fun and a great way to learn! Join us for this ‘loose parts’ interactive session. This is a great opportunity to meet other caregivers and their children. This unstructured program is designed to help your child develop their creativity, exploration, and social skills while supporting their development through play. Please bring a nut-free snack for your child.
Birth–6 years | Family Futures Resource Network is offering this group in partnership with the Dayspring Presbyterian Church. Parents, caregivers and children come together to meet, learn, socialize, and have fun. Coffee will be provided. Please bring beverages and nut free snacks for your children.
Birth–3 years | This fun and interactive program includes stories, musical movement, rhymes and creative props. Connect with your little one in this literacy, arts and movement program with time built in between activities to interact with other children and families.
