Our Grade 1 and Grade 2 math sessions are designed to build confidence, strengthen foundational skills, and prepare students for future success.

In Grade 1 tutoring, children focus on numbers up to 100—learning to read, write, and sequence numbers while connecting them to quantities. They’ll practice addition and subtraction, including carrying and borrowing, and explore shapes, symmetry, and patterns. Early introductions to fractions, multiplication, and division help set the stage for more advanced concepts.

In Grade 2 tutoring, students expand their numeracy skills to numbers up to 1,000, learning about place value, sequencing, and multi-digit operations. They’ll work with addition and subtraction within 100, multiplication and division within 100, and explore 3D shapes, measurement, units, length, and fractions.

Before registering in this session, please make sure your child has mastered the following: 

• – For Grade 1: Numbers up to 20 and recognition of basic 2D and 3D shapes.

• – For Grade 2: Numbers up to 100, carrying in addition, borrowing in subtraction, and basic 2D and 3D shapes.

An administrative fee of $20 will be applied to all cancellations. No refunds will be issued less than 7 days prior to the start of the session.
