Our Grade 5 & 6 Group Math Tutoring program is designed to support students through the Alberta Mathematics Curriculum while helping them build a strong foundation for junior high. With small group sizes and engaging instruction, students gain the skills, confidence, and problem-solving abilities they need to thrive.
Our tutoring follows the Grade 5 Alberta math outcomes, focusing on:
Data analysis: interpreting and creating graphs
Multiplying and dividing larger numbers
Fractions and decimals: comparing, ordering, adding, and subtracting
Measurement: area, perimeter, volume, and unit conversions
Patterns and equations: identifying patterns and solving basic equations
Geometry: classifying shapes and understanding transformations
We help learners strengthen advanced concepts introduced in Grade 6, including:
Data interpretation: probability, charts, and multi-step word problems
Fractions, ratios, and decimals: advanced operations and applications
Percentages: calculating percentage of numbers
Integers and number patterns
Geometry: angles, polygons, circles, and coordinate grids
Area, perimeter, and capacity

An administrative fee of $20 will be applied to all cancellations. No refunds will be issued less than 7 days prior to the start of the session.
