CHILD & YOUTH

The Child and Youth Program is aimed at school-age children to help them develop social skills such as problem solving, friendship building, effective communication, feelings and anger management, and self-esteem building.

Programs are offered at designated schools during school hours and run weekly for 6 - 8 weeks. Most program curriculums are flexible and can be adapted to meet the needs of the students.

The Home Alone Program is designed to provide children with the necessary skills and knowledge to be safe and responsible when home alone for short periods of time. It will help them understand how to prevent problems, handle real-life situations, and keep them safe and constructively occupied. This program has been developed by the Canada Safety Council and is recommended for children who are at least 10 years of age and up. Participants will receive a certificate of attendance

REGISTRATION REQUIRED. $25 program fee. Call 780-413-4521, REGISTRATION OPENS Tuesday March 12.
