FAMILY SUPPORT & PARENT EDUCATION

Family Support and Parent Education Programs help parents build their skills and confidence in providing a nurturing environment for their children.

These programs offer information, education, and support to families in the community, through: structured groups; child care (children’s programming provided while parents attend selected adult programs); as well as over-the-phone and drop-in support.

ADHD PARENT SUPPORT GROUP

As part of our relationship with the ADHD Association of Greater Edmonton, FFRN is pleased to host their monthly parent support group meetings. This meeting is a time for meaningful dialogue and to share deeply about issues related to ADHD that affect your lives and the lives of your children. Whether it’s a chance to discuss struggles with school or the pre-diagnostic/treatment process, or an opportunity to share successes your kids have had, we want to hear about your experiences. This is a roundtable discussion, in a welcoming, non-judgmental setting.
